Shari Howie, IBCLC
Shari holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work, with a focus on children, families, and mental health. Inspired by her own journey into motherhood, she became a postpartum doula to support new moms during one of life’s most transformative times. In 2011, Shari expanded her expertise by earning her International Board Certification for Lactation, bringing her skills to hospital settings and beyond. Today, Shari supports mothers virtually, in their homes, and in pediatric offices, meeting families wherever they need her most. Her approach is knowledge-based and compassionate, offering nonjudgmental listening and personalized plans to help parents feel confident and capable as they embrace their new roles. For Shari, supporting families isn’t just a career—it’s her passion. She feels deeply honored to help moms navigate this special season of life with care, understanding, and empowerment. Shari also cherishes time with her two college-aged children, enjoys hiking and soaking up the sun with her husband, and has a deep love for animals and the outdoors. When not supporting moms, she’s embracing nature and family life.
