Community Outreach

As our H.I.P community has grown, we would like to honor the connection we feel to the greater Denver community and beyond. December 2015 marked the first of a monthly commitment from H.I.P. to a highlighted non-profit. The groups will range from local to international organizations that are working to improve the care of children dealing with illness or inadequate access to quality health care.

We believe strongly in the power of preventive medicine. To honor the commitment our families have to promoting wellness in their own children, we pledge to donate $1 for every Well Care visit at H.I.P. to our chosen non-profit of the month

In December 2015, we donated to Brent's Place, a local non-profit that provides housing for immune compromised children and their families, who are receiving treatment at Children's Hopstial Colorado and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. This is a vital service for families traveling to Denver to receive the specialized, expert care that our children's hopsitals offer.

In January 2016, we gave to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. LLS honors member of our community who have been affected by blood and lymph cancers.

The month of Feburary 2016 will be dedicated to the Matthew Emrick Memorial Scholarship Fund. Every year, two scholarships are awarded to one boy and one girl at North Middle School in Aurora, CO, who are chosen based on an essay they write. The scholarship provides clothes and supplies for the school year.

If you haven't yet scheduled your child's next well care visit, give our office a call, as it will not only benefit your child but also children in need. Thank you so much for all your love and support over the past 3 years!
